Will Travis Hunter Play Week 11? Latest Update and Fantasy Outlook on Jaguars WR

It seems like the season has ended prematurely for rookie Travis Hunter. He has undergone knee surgery to repair his LCL. His recovery is expected to take at least six months before he can return to football activities. The update was reported by the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

A statement by the team on the matter read:

“Beyond the LCL, there was no additional damage to the knee,” the announcement read. “Hunter will miss the remainder of the 2025 season, but is expected to return within six months to full football activities.”

So there’s no expectation for the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner playing the rest of this season, and all eyes are set on the 2026 season for Hunter.

    What Happened to Travis Hunter?

Travis Hunter suffered a non-contact injury during practice in October, and since then, he hasn’t appeared in any game for the Jacksonville Jaguars. His last game was on October 19th, a 35-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

Now it’s been revealed that he had to undergo a season-ending injury to repair his LCL. The good news, according to the team, is that the damage to his knee was just to the LCL and that no other structures were affected.

    Travis Hunter Fantasy Outlook

Well, clearly, he isn’t an asset moving forward for fantasy owners. Trading him isn’t an option either, as no one will want to take on the deadweight. Resignation is all that’s left for fantasy players who own the two-way starter of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

    Potential Travis Hunter’s Replacements

If you want to look for potential in-house replacements, you might find that Parker Washington is still a free agent, and since Hunter’s absence, he has seen an increase in the number of targets he’s receiving. If you want to look somewhere else, look up Tez Johnson, Josh Downs, or Troy Franklin.
