Jaxson Dart suffered a head injury in the Giants’ Week 10 loss to the Chicago Bears. After taking a hit early in the fourth quarter, he left the game and entered the blue medical tent. He then went to the locker room and was ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion. Dart is now in concussion protocol.
How Many Concussions Has Jaxson Dart Had?
Head injuries have been an issue for Jaxson Dart this season. According to reporter Jordan Raanan, this was the fourth time Dart was evaluated for a concussion this year, including the preseason. When asked about his QB taking too many hits, former head coach Brian Daboll said:
“I’d just say it’s unfortunate that he got hurt.”
Daboll was fired on Monday after the Giants’ 2-8 start to the season.

As things stand on Wednesday morning, no official decision has been made on Jaxson Dart’s status for Week 11. However, concussion protocol makes it difficult for players to return a week after suffering a head injury. There is a five-step process that players must follow to prove they can play.
Fantasy Replacements for Jaxson Dart This Week
If Jaxson Dart is not available in Week 11, fantasy owners will need to find a replacement. If they want to stick with a Giants’ QB, Jameis Winston is expected to start. While Russell Wilson took over against Chicago on Sunday when Dart went down, multiple reports indicate that Winston will get the start on Sunday if Dart is unavailable.
There should also be several other options available. Arizona’s Jacoby Brissett is likely available on your waiver wire and has performed well for the Cardinals since Kyler Murray went down with an injury.
