Tight end Dalton Kincaid has been a primary target for quarterback Josh Allen for the Buffalo Bills the last few seasons.
Kincaid, the Bills’ first-round selection in 2023, started his career recording 44+ catches, 445+ yards, and two receiving touchdowns in each of his first two NFL seasons. Now, those numbers aren’t eye-popping, but Kincaid has been a solid blocker and pass-catching option and looked to take the next step this season.
Early in the year, Kincaid already showed progression. He has the same amount amount of receiving yards this season than last (448) and already has two more receiving touchdowns this year than in either of the previous two seasons. In just eight games played, Kincaid has 29 catches for 448 yards and four touchdown. He’s missed four games this season including the last thee games for the Bills.
What Happened to Dalton Kincaid?
Dalton Kincaid left the Buffalo Bills‘ Week 10 game against the Miami Dolphins. Kincaid left the game with a hamstring injury and never returned after logging two catches for 37 yards.
There hasn’t been many details on the injury or when it happened, but it was enough to keep him out of the Bills’ next three games.

It is concerning that Kincaid was designated with a knee injury on top of his hamstring injury. Per head coach Sean McDermott, Kincaid suffered a knee injury while rehabbing his hamstring. Though that injury wasn’t serious enough to sideline Kincaid, it’s still an injury that should be monitored.
