Who Is Eliminated From the NFL Playoffs? Full Updated List After Week 14 Ft. Cleveland Browns

Week 14 has now wrapped up, and even more teams have been eliminated from qualifying for the NFL Playoffs. Surprisingly, the Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals have hung on, while usually powerhouse teams like the Indianapolis Colts, the Baltimore Ravens, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions are fighting for their lives as they might get eliminated soon if they keep losing.

Among the already eliminated for Week 14 are some of the usual suspects, though if there is any consolation, they might get some pretty big draft picks next year. That being said, there are nine teams already out of contention for the NFL Playoffs, and they are:

9 Teams Already Out Of Contention From The NFL Playoffs After Week 14

    Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons’ 4-9 record was not enough to keep them to stay in contention, especially after losing at home to the Seattle Seahawks. They got eliminated after that loss.

    New York Jets

As many had expected, the New York Jets continue their record playoff drought. They got eliminated after losing the the Miami Dolphins of all teams, and that win actually made sure that the struggling Dolphins stayed in playoff contention for now, though they are a long shot in making it.

    Cleveland Browns

Shedeur Sanders had an excellent game against the Tennessee Titans, and fans are now wondering what might have happened if head coach Kevin Stefanski did not pull him out for what was supposed to be a game-tying play in that loss to the Tennessee Titans. As a result, the Browns did not just lose, but they also got eliminated. If they won that one, they would still have been in contention, so this makes it a very big “what if?” scenario.

    Arizona Cardinals

The Cards just had a very bad season and got eliminated after losing to the No. 1 Rams on Sunday.

    Las Vegas Raiders

This has not been Las Vegas’ year, with a 2-11 record; they were clearly not making it to the playoffs this year.

    New Orleans Saints

The Saints had some sparks this season, but that loss to Tampa Bay sealed their fate.

    Tennessee Titans

The Titans may have beaten the Cleveland Browns, but they were also the first team eliminated this year after a 1-11 record. They are now 2-11, but that still means they are eliminated.

    Washington Commanders

The Commanders are about to get a new stadium, but for now, they have already been eliminated from playoff contention in a year filled with injury problems.

    New York Giants

The Giants had a tiny spark in the season after rookies Cam Skattebo and Jaxson Dart went wild, but that soon ended when they got injured. Their season is now over.
