The Los Angeles Rams, coached by Sean McVay, are currently experiencing issues with their mode of transportation heading into their marquee matchup against a formidable opponent. On Thursday, Dec. 18, coach McVay’s Rams are set to take on coach Mike Macdonald’s Seattle Seahawks for their Week 16 matchup of the 2025 NFL regular season in away territory, the Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.
But, as reported by sports reporter Adam Schefter on his X/Twitter account, the Rams will be following a new schedule for their plane trip to Seattle. As it stands, it is reported that the Rams’ coaching staff and its roster of players this year will depart from Los Angeles at 5:25 p.m. PT, while the remainder of the team’s personnel and management will follow shortly at a later time. This fixes the previous setback in chartering the team’s flight.
The Rams’ new game plan for their trip to Seattle: Players and coaches now will leave on a 737 scheduled at 5:25 pm PT. The remainder of the Rams’ staff will leave later on another plane. https://t.co/bCkb6TY5RV

The Rams’ team flight that was supposed to be leaving any minute now is expected to be significantly delayed due to an equipment issue with the plane, per sources. This development exactly follows Schefter’s previous post on X/Twitter on Tuesday, Dec. 16, wherein he reported that the Rams‘ flight was significantly delayed due to an equipment issue with the plane they’re supposed to be on. Nevertheless, the new setup, which was said to have worked on by the team to prevent further delays, should allow the Rams to be within the vicinity of Seattle as soon as possible.
The Los Angeles Rams Have Only Lost Three Games So Far In The 2025 Season
Despite all of the delays and setbacks the team is facing right now ahead of their surefire matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, the Los Angeles Rams remain the top team in their conference, the NFC West, as they possess an outstanding 11-3 overall record so far in the 2025 NFL campaign. The team is currently riding high on their two-game win streak heading into Week 16, as their flight complications hopefully do not serve much of a hindrance to their performance.
The Rams are coming off a seven-point victory, 41-34, over the Detroit Lions on their home pitch in their last game.
