Fantasy Football Week 12 Buy Low Sell High Candidates Including Ja’Marr Chase, Drake Maye, And More

The NFL provides many surprising performances each week, whether it’s in Fantasy Football, or just teams simply over or underperforming.

This past week saw breakout fantasy performances from Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sen Tucker, Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Wilson, Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young, and many more. But players like Khalil Shakir, Quenton Johnston, and others saw the opposite with dud performances.

With three weeks left to secure a playoff spot in fantasy football, let’s take a look at some of the top Buy Low, Sell High players for Week 12:

Top Buy Low Candidates For Week 12

    -Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals WR

Ja’Marr Chase instantly becomes less valued for the remainder of the season after he got suspended for this Sunday’s game due to spitting on Pittsburgh Steelers DB, Jalen Ramsey. Chase also had an unproductive game, catching three passes for 30 yards on 10 targets.

-Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR

In his first five games of the season, Emeka Egbuka scored four of his six touchdowns and had three games where he had at least 85+ yards receiving. Since then, he’s only had one receiving touchdown and one game where he’s gone over 100 receiving yards. Egbuka has been playing with a nagging hamstring injury and if healthier, his numbers should go back up.

    -Chris Rodriguez, Washington Commanders RB

In the Washington Commanders’ Sunday morning overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins, running back Chris Rodriguez had one of his most productive performances all season. He set season highs in rush attempts (15) and rushing yards (79.) He also scored in the two previous games.

-Drake Maye, New England Patriots QB

Drake Maye has been playing the way Patriots fans expected he would when the team drafted him in 2024. However, over the last three games, he’s had some underperforming fantasy numbers, recording 15-18 points in each of the last three games. He does have favorable matchups the next two game against the Cincinnati Bengals and the New York Giants, but has a bye the following week.

    -Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers QB

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is having the best season in his young three year career. He is projected to set career highs in passing yards and touchdowns and is most recently coming off of the best game of his NFL career. He threw for a career high 448 yards and three touchdowns in the team’s 30-27 overtime win against the Atlanta Falcons last weekend.

-Sean Tucker, Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB

Bucky Irving owners may have picked up Rachaad White or Sean Tucker shortly after he suffered his toe and shoulder injuries early in the season. Since then, White and Tucker have split the backfield, with White being utilized more. This past Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, Tucker had a three touchdown performance and rushed for 106 yards in the win.
