Whether it’s injuries, players on bye weeks, or players struggling at the position, there might be some solid waiver wire running back adds this week. Well, they may not get you 20 points, but if you’re desperate to start a running back, there could be some diamonds in the dirt available for you to add this week.
Here are three Week 9 RB waiver wire options you can add to your team that could be available on waiver wires.
Three Week 9 RB Waiver Wire Pickup Options
Tyrone Tracy
With New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo suffering what’s believed to be a season-ending dislocated ankle injury, Tyrone Tracy becomes a top option on the waiver wires.
[ad slot]
Tracy began the season as the team’s starting running back with Skattebo as his backup before he went down with a shoulder injury. With Skattebo now done for the year, the Giants will look to Tracy to lead the backfield with Devin Singletary serving as the backup.
Tracy has 159 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown this season.
Tank Bibgsy
Tank Bigsby finally has his breakout game with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles acquired Bigsby via the Jacksonville Jaguars early this season, but didn’t use him much up until this past Sunday.
[ad slot]
He made the most of his snaps, as he rushed for 104 yards on just nine carries. Could he now be fitting himself as the RB No. 2 in Philly? After a game like he had last week, he could see more of a usage after he wasn’t used much until the Eagles’ last two games.
RJ Harvey
RJ Harvey has scored four touchdowns in the last two weeks. The Denver Broncos rookie running back looks to be settling into the offense and rushed for two touchdowns and 46 yards on seven carries in the team’s blowout win against the Dallas Cowboys this past weekend. Harvey has also had a receiving touchdown in each of his last two games.
Harvey has 200 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns this season.
