While there are flashier positions than tight end, it is still an integral position on a fantasy football roster. Harold Fannin Jr.
Cleveland rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. is growing into a solid fantasy option at his position. While he only finished with 13 yards in Week 5, he had the best game of his career on Sunday, making seven receptions for 81 yards. The Browns are now set to play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7, which should give Fannin an opportunity to have another big game. As a result, he is a great waiver wire option.

Cade Otton
Tampa Bay tight end Cade Otton is another interesting option. After getting limited snaps in the first four games of the year, he has emerged as a viable option in the past two weeks. After only making six receptions in the first four games, he made nine receptions for 132 yards over the past two weeks. At only 12% rostered in Yahoo leagues, he could be an interesting waiver wire target.
Darnell Washington
Fantasy players looking for options in deeper leagues should consider Pittsburgh tight end Darnell Washington. He is less than 1% rostered in Yahoo leagues but had a big game last week, making six receptions for 62 yards against Cleveland. Now that he is receiving an opportunity to show his talents, he is doing well. With the team set to go against the Bengals on Thursday, he could have another big game.
Oronde Gadsden II
Another deep league option is LA Chargers TE Oronde Gadsden II. He is coming off the most productive performance of his young career, making seven catches for 68 yards. In a Chargers offense with an injured offensive line, QB Justin Herbert could look to make a lot of quick passes to Gadsden.
AJ Barner
Seattle TE AJ Barner has become a top 10 fantasy tight end in most formats. Despite that, he is only 20.2% rostered. As a result, he should be targeted by fantasy players if he is still on the waiver wire.
