Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffered a devastating injury in the Week 4 game of this season. The former Super Bowl champion suffered a dislocated left knee and tore multiple ligaments, including the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). The injury was season-ending, and he was put on injured reserve. He underwent surgery for the injury, which reportedly went well.
On Sunday, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, shared the latest update on Hill’s injury. According to Rosenhaus, Hill’s rehab is going well, from what he gathered from the Dolphins and Hill.
“You know, everything I get from Tyreek and the Dolphins is that his rehab is going extremely well. He’s working incredibly hard, he’s made really great progress, and everything is going according to schedule,” Rosenhaus said in his recent media appearance.
Rosenhaus also talked about whether Hill will return to play in the NFL after recovering from the injury.
“As far as Tyreek’s future plans, he’s said that he’s going to take some time to decide, and obviously there’s no rush for him,” Rosenhaus said. “For now, he’s focused on his rehab and spending time with his family. And you’re right — he’s DJing — but believe me, he’s working extremely hard and taking his rehabilitation very seriously.”
Tyreek Hill’s Agent Shares About WR’s Potential Future With Dolphins
Tyreek Hill is currently contemplating his future in the NFL after the season-ending injury. He is signed to the Dolphins through the 2026 season on a three-year, $90 million deal, which was signed in August 2024.
If he does return from the injury, which generally requires 9 to 12 months of recovery, it will be at the start of the 2026 season. It becomes interesting whether the Dolphins try to ink an extension.
Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, was asked about the same, to which he answered:
“You know, I guess that depends on Tyreek and it depends on the Dolphins. I haven’t had any discussions with the Dolphins yet about Tyreek or his future with the team, and I’m sure we’ll have those discussions after the season.”
Before going down with an injury, Hill caught 21 receptions for 265 yards and one touchdown. Last year, he fell just short of receiving 1,000 yards as he finished with 959 yards on 81 receptions.
