Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins are in Spain to play the Washington Commanders at the Santiago Bernabeu, the home of the world-famous Real Madrid “Merengues”. The NFL teams are in the house of “Los Blancos” as part of the league’s desire to internationalize the sport known overseas as “American football”.
Tagovailoa’s wife, Annah Tagovailoa, appears to be enjoying the move to Madrid, as evidenced by recent stories of her night out in Spain’s capital. Madrid is one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan capitals, mixing centuries-old history and culture with modern industries and amenities.
Annah and the other Dolphins’ wives spent the night out at Makoto, a world-renowned Japanese cuisine restaurant with locations in Miami, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Panama City, Washington D.C., Vail (Colorado), and Caracas (although under the brand Otokam in the Venezuelan capital).

The Bernabeu recently underwent a massive $1.3 billion upgrade that made it one of the most advanced stadiums in the world. The upgrade added a retractable roof, a new exterior facade, a 360-degree LED screen, a retractable turf, a series of new fan hospitality zones, and a plethora of new amenities. The stadium has a capacity of 84,000 fans.
Real Madrid is one of the most valuable sports brands in the world, and the most valuable soccer club at $6.75 billion according to Forbes.
