Marissa Lawrence, wife of Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, recently shared a deeply personal and nostalgic moment. She posted a touching throwback photo on her Instagram story as the picture captured the couple as high schoolers.
She was reflecting on their long journey as the couple has now been together for nearly a decade.
The photo shows a young Marissa holding a young Trevor Lawrence’s face while he is smiling in a t-shirt.
“Just came across this pic 🥹,” Marissa wrote over the image. “I think this was my 17th bday… this year our 10 year anniversary is coming up and Im so grateful that we’ve got to grow up together. I love our love 💖. @tlawrence16”, Marissa captioned the story.
In her story, Marissa pinpointed the memory as her 17th birthday. She also noted their 10-year anniversary is approaching. She also mentioned in her heartfelt post how grateful she was that they got to grow up together.
Trevor and Marissa got married in 2021 before the NFL Draft. This was right before Trevor was selected first overall by the Jaguars.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Shae Lynn, in January 2025.

Meanwhile, just days ago, Trevor Lawrence led a dramatic 30-29 comeback victory against the Las Vegas Raiders in a critical Week 9 matchup for the Jaguars.
The victory was even more impressive given the circumstances. Marissa revealed the challenge they faced, sharing that both she and Trevor were “up all night so sick.”
She also publicly praised his dedication, calling him “so strong and such a good leader” whilst admiring his ability to compete while feeling unwell.

Marissa often shares updates as a new mom and is frequently spotted at Trevor’s games, cheering on her husband.
While supporting her husband, Marissa is also building her own career as an event planner. Marissa has been working as an event planner since 2021 for Love, Gigi Event Design.
