The NFL season may have already started, but Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence still found some time to relax on a fishing trip. His wife, Marissa, posted a photo of herself with Lawrence and some teammates as they enjoyed a fishing trip, holding up some lobsters.
The post was shared from the post of Marielle Corbett, the fiancée of Trevor Lawrence’s Jaguars teammate, Robert Hainsey. It featured the Jaguars players enjoying themselves on the beach with their wives or girlfriends during their off time, with Marissa Lawrence being the one wearing a white top and holding a lobster.
The Jaguars are currently 1-1 in the standings, and players have some time off until their next game on Monday, which is against the Houston Texans. They won their season opener against the Florida Panthers 26-10, only to lose their next game one week later against the Cincinnati Bengals 27-31.
In those two games, Lawrence has already thrown for 449 yards with a 58.9% completion rate, with him being intercepted thrice in the season already, two coming from that loss against the Bengals. He did have four touchdown passes this season already, however.
As for Marissa Lawrence, she and Trevor have been high school sweethearts. They got married in 2021, with Lawrence famously proposing to her right in the middle of Clemson Memorial Stadium. He led Clemson to a national title in 2018 before joining the NFL.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was originally from Cartersville, Georgia, and this was where he met his wife, Marissa, as they attended Cartersville High School together. She was very supportive of him and has been cheering for him since high school, even going to prom together in 2017, with them starting to date in 2016.
They then went to separate universities during their college days, but have remained together despite this. Marissa was a soccer star and played for Anderson University, while Trever Lawrence famously went to Clemson and led the Tigers to a national championship during his time there. While Lawrence went on to become a football star, Marissa did not continue her soccer career.
Despite not being a soccer player anymore, Marissa now works as an event planner, running an event planning company called Love, Gigi Event Design. She continues to support her husband’s football career and is a common sight during his games.
