Trevor Lawrence faced relentless pressure in Jacksonville’s recent loss to the Seattle Seahawks, getting sacked a career-high seven times. The Jaguars’ offensive line struggled to contain Seattle’s defensive front, which consistently broke through and disrupted Lawrence’s rhythm throughout the game.
After the loss, Lawrence acknowledged that such challenges are part of playing quarterback in the NFL. He emphasized that opposing defenders are paid to create chaos, and a tight pocket is something every quarterback has to manage.
Despite the hits, he tried to stay composed and make plays when opportunities arose, though the constant pressure clearly took a toll.
“I’ve got to be able to navigate in there and make throws down the field and find guys and get the ball out of my hands when necessary and not take quite as many sacks,” he said, as per SI.
