Sometimes, even the best could fail at the things they do best, and that includes Travis Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end fumbled the ball in that devastating loss to the Houston Texans, leading to the team’s playoff hopes slipping further and further.
Because of that loss to Houston, the Kansas City Chiefs will not be finishing on top of the AFC West this year, which has surprised many, as this might just be the end of an era. Soon enough, fans poked fun at that disastrous fumble from the guy dating Taylor Swift. While some critics were just poking fun at the Chiefs’ demise, others were hitting him with Taylor Swift jokes.
Absolute insanity from Travis Kelce ,catch of the year! 🔥

Travis Kelce is so washed and a loser that he didn’t even come out for the last drive. Just go retire, marry Taylor and be Mrs Travis Swift pic.twitter.com/BTyU22OmQo

Kansas City Chiefs Now Have More Difficult Road To The Playoffs After Loss To Texans
The Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce era of the Kansas City Chiefs has seen much success for the team, which included back-to-back Super Bowl wins. After that loss to Houston on Sunday, however, the team may not be playing in the playoffs for the first time in years.
The Chiefs are ranked 10th in the AFC title picture, with the Texans now surging to the No. 7 spot after beating Travis Kelce and company. They are now 6-7 after Week 14 and may soon find themselves out of contention, with NextGen Stats predicting that they only have a 15% chance to make it after the loss.
