Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Gets Emotional While Discussing “Issues” Faced in 2025 Season

Travis Kelce has been having a tough season with the Chiefs in 2025. He especially struggled during the game against the Houston Texans, dropping an important catch that cost the franchise their seventh loss and took away their chances of winning the AFC West.

Talking about his struggles this year during his podcast called “New Heights” with brother Jason Kelce, the Chiefs TE opened up about how all the work he is putting in hasn’t been paying off for some reason and highlighted “little things” as a part of the overall concern.

“You put in all this f—ing work and hope that it pays off,” Kelce said in Wednesday’s episode. “And right now, it’s just for whatever f—ing reason, man, it’s little things. I don’t know, discipline? I feel like I’ve always had the answers in years past. And this year, I just can’t find them.”

“I keep thinking if I show up to work and I put in the work and I fix the issues through my practice habits and through perfecting the game plan and my fundamentals and what I’m being taught, and go out there and try and play my ass off for my guys next to me, it’s all going to come together like it has in years past. And this year it is just not, man.”

The Chiefs lost in a 20-10 showdown against the Texans, after which Kelce instantly left the field and declined to give any interviews.

Travis Kelce Reveals His No. 1 Song on This Year’s Spotify Wrapped

Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, have been the talk of the town ever since the Chiefs TE was seen dancing to her songs during the Eras Tour.

Now that it has been 2.5 years since the two have been a couple, not much has changed in terms of Kelce’s music taste, as he recently revealed that the No.1 album on his Spotify wrap this year was ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ by Swift, which came out recently.

The conversation took place when Jason Kelce said that the songs he plays are doo-wop tracks for his kids, which is why that’s the one that made the top of the list, and he guessed that something by “Tay Tay” must be at the top of Travis’ list.

“That was number one for me, “I don’t have any kids, so…” Travis said.

Travis and Taylor are rumored to be planning an offseason wedding after getting engaged in August.
