Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter’s debut NFL season has come to an early end after the cornerback/wide receiver underwent season-ending surgery to repair a torn lateral collateral ligament (LCL) in his right knee.
On Tuesday, Hunter’s wife, Leanna Lenee, took a playful note of Hunter’s injury. She uploaded a TikTok video where she leans on Hunter and demands money. She is lip-syncing:
“Go get a job, Oh my god, show your money,” as Hunter points out to his bandaged right knee.

Hunter suffered a non-contact injury during practice on Oct. 30. He was placed on IR the following day. In seven games played this season, the former Colorado Buffaloes star caught 28 passes for 298 yards and one touchdown on offense, while also recording 15 tackles and 3 pass breakups on defense.

It has been a big year for Travis Hunter as he made his transition from college football to the NFL. After winning the Heisman Trophy for his stellar performance in the 2024 college football season, Hunter was picked second overall by the Jaguars.
Shortly after the draft, Hunter took the next step in his relationship with Leanna Lenee. The couple, who engaged in February 2024, finally tied the knot on May 24, 2025, at The Barn at Faith Farms in Tennessee. Hunter gifted Leanna a Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 Brabus 800 as a wedding gift.
Moreover, Hunter and Lenee became parents as they welcomed their first child, a baby boy, earlier in 2025. They revealed the news through their YouTube video titled “Dear Son…” which in large detail documented Leanna’s pregnancy from first pregnancy knowledge to the delivery room, where Hunter emotionally said:
“That baby looks just like me!”
Meanwhile, even on the football front, Leanna showed full support to Hunter by turning up for his Jaguars games in custom outfits. After Hunter scored his first NFL touchdown in Week 7, she posted on Instagram:
“ABOUT. TIME. !!!!!”
Now that the rookie is done for the season, he can use the extra time with his son.
