‘Seasoned the Meat With Dandruff’: NFL Fans React As Travis Hunter and Wife Leanna Follow Unhygienic Practices While Cooking

Travis Hunter and his wife, Leanna Lenee, are one of the most beloved young NFL couples. With Hunter’s rising popularity and their efforts to keep the fans updated with what’s happening in their lives, they’ve become favorites of many fans.

Despite the popularity and love they receive, there are times when celebrities do something that attracts a little bit of trolling. For Hunter and Lenee, that happened when the couple uploaded a cooking video on social media.

In the video, Hunter can be seen leading the charge in the kitchen. Wearing an apron over a Jaguars hoodie, the rookie seemed excited about whatever he was cooking. Hunter was also doing real-time voice-overs, telling fans what he was adding to the mix.

In that process, he got carried away and started admiring himself, something that has become a trend with Hunter in recent videos. The 22-year-old leaned over the pan, looked straight into the camera, and rubbed his palm on his head.

Dov Kleiman posted the video on X, which garnered hundreds of comments. While not everyone was as disgusted by it as Kleiman was, some fans believed Hunter might’ve added some dandruff to his food.

“Ni**a seasoned the meat with dandruff and his wife didn’t even notice,” a fan wrote.

“Not he puttin flakes in the food,” a fan wrote.

“Waves looking good or not, nobody wants seasoning from your scalp,” a fan wrote.

“Sprinkle a little dandruff for seasoning,” a fan wrote.

“Brother seasoned the meal with follicles,” a fan wrote.

“This is one of those clips that’s funny, gross, and weirdly wholesome at the same time. Rookie confidence + zero self-awareness is always a dangerous combo,” a fan wrote.

A sweet, home cooking videos has turned into an online debate about Hunter possibly and mistakenly adding dandruff to his food.

Patience Is the Key for Travis Hunter

Hunter arrived in the NFL after a very successful collegiate stint, especially in his last year. He won numerous individual awards, including the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and the 2024 Heisman Trophy.

When his rookie NFL season started, he showed flashes of the same greatness that made him a Heisman winner, but his season was cut short by an injury. Currently out for the remainder of the season, Hunter is taking small steps and learning the importance of patience in an athlete’s life.

“It’s very important for me to be patient,” Hunter said. “I’ve just got to let the game come to me. The coaches are trying to dial up some things for me. I just got to continue to just work, and just have the guys trust me because I’m doing my job every time. I’ve just got to continue to do my job.”

The Jaguars expect Hunter to be back, completely healthy when the next season comes around. Until then, fans will get to see him through his social media videos.
