The No.2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft will have expectations on expectations. And he is definitely living up to that designation, playing wide receiver and cornerback for the Jaguars.

Yet there has been some discussion about best managing his dual-threat capacity. In a recent win against the San Francisco 49ers, Hunter did not play a defensive snap in the second half of the game. Speculation about how the team will continue to balance Hunter’s workload will continue, and the best way to capitalize on his talents without wearing him down.

Despite injury scares, Hunter has escaped injury and looks to be a unique asset for offense and defense moving forward when the Jaguars need him.
