Top 10 Pete Carroll Memes Leaving Fans in Stitches After Raiders Firing Amid Upcoming No. 1 Overall Pick

The Las Vegas Raiders fans have reason to thank Pete Carroll despite the head coach’s firing after just one season. The Raiders finished with a league-low 3-14 mark, and that was enough for management to think it was not worth it to let Carroll continue.

However, Carroll left a parting gift for the Raiders. After finishing dead last in the NFL, the Raiders have grabbed the opportunity to draft the first overall pick next year.

Fans also had the perfect farewell for Carroll for doing what many past head coaches of the Raiders couldn’t do. Here are the 10 best memes for you to go through and enjoy:

Raiders Owner Hints At Tom Brady’s Involvement In Next HC Search After Pete Carroll’s Dismissal

Raiders owner Mark Davis released a statement to announce the dismissal of Pete Carroll as he wished the veteran head coach all the best for the future.

“The Las Vegas Raiders have relieved Pete Carroll of his duties as head coach,” Davis said. “We appreciate and wish him and his family all the best.”

Like many Black Monday decisions, even the Raiders have retained general manager John Spytek, who will be tasked to find the new head coach with the help of co-owner and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

“Moving forward, General Manager John Spytek will lead all football operations in close collaboration with Tom Brady, including the search for the club’s next head coach,” Davis added. “Together, they will guide football decisions with a shared focus on leadership, culture, and alignment with the organization’s long-term vision and goals.”

Spytek and Brady used to play together at Michigan. So the bond and chemistry are already there. They need to put them to good use and find a Raiders head coach who can steer the franchise in the right direction while also making sure to best use the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

As far as replacements are concerned, Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, and San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh have emerged as early options to replace Pete Carroll.
