Shedeur Sanders was able to secure his second win of the season and his first at home during the Browns vs Steelers showdown in week 17, which ended in a 13-6 win for the Browns.
The game was played a few days after Christmas, during which Shedeur was in Cleveland preparing for the big matchup and chose to not go to his dad, Deion Sanders’ place in Texas where his siblings including Bucky, Shilo Sanders and Deiondra were present.
After the game, the Browns rookie hilariously shared that he didn’t get many gifts on Christmas and jokingly asked the fans to send him presents in the form of jewellery, bags and clothes, he’d be willing to accept them.
Shedeur also didn’t take long before uploading his Cleveland home address on his Instagram story to make it easier for fans to send their love.
“Incredibly tone deaf. I know it’s a joke but incredibly tone deaf,” one fan reacted.
“F*ck, if yall are willing to help him even though his fam is lore than capable of doing that, send me some ends to hold to! Lol,” another fan commented.
“Is he say he wasn’t smart enough to have insurance and having them itemized for coverage??? Oh poor guy,” another fan questioned.
“that’s genuinely insane. this is gonna multiply that hate he was getting tenfold, rightfully so. what a stupid comment, even from a kid his age. you grew up a millionaire, fuckin act like it.,” another fan sarcastically added.
Shedeur Sanders Explains Why Steelers Win Was Bittersweet For The Browns QB
While the Browns were able to clinch a 13-6 game against the Steelers on Sunday, Shedeur Sanders didn’t have the best game as he completed 17 of 23 passes, throwing for 186 passin yards, along with one touchdown and two interceptions.
One of his passes to WR Jerry Jeudy was also labelled among the worst interceptions of the season by many fans and analysts.
After the game, Browns insider, Mary Kay Cabot shared that Shedeur felt that the win was a bittersweet one as he believes the offense got to do their part better and he has to play his part little bit more as well.
“We can’t be happy with only 13 points on the board. So, we just got to be able to put up more points,” Shedeur said.
The Browns rookie further said he will go back to watch the film on the mistakes he made throughout the game and try to learn from them.
