    Tom Brady Gets 100% Real On Bonding With Younger Son Ben As A Mentor: “People Can Make A Lot of Mistakes”

    Tom Brady is a father to three children and he has different ways to bond with them now that he and his former wife Gisele Bundchen are no longer together. Brady shares elder son “Jack” Edward Thomas, 18, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan and shares second son Ben with Bundchen. The former couple also share a daughter named Vivian.

    During a recent exclusive interview with People, Brady revealed that he’s teaching his second son how to drive. The seven-time Super Bowl champion said that his driving resemble his Hall of Fame career in a good way. Like he used to take caution as a quarterback, he takes every necessary precaution to drive safely. He’s trying to inculcate that same habit in Ben.

    “I drive very defensively, kind of like I was on the football field,” Brady told PEOPLE exclusively. “I always try to know where the problems are at, and I kind of teach him how to drive like that too… Because you never know out there on the road.”

    The former Patriots quarterback said why it’s important to always be cautious about the surroundings since anything can happen even if the mistake is not ours.

    “People can make a lot of mistakes and you got to be willing to adapt,” Brady added. “And even if you have a green light and someone runs their red light, you’re still the one getting hit, so you’ve got to be careful when you’re on the road.”

    Brady was sharing this story while talking about his partnership with Hertz Car Sales.

    Tom Brady talks about driving skills of his older son

    Tom Brady’s first son Jack Edwards is a pretty good driver, the former quarterback son. He adds that his second son Ben who turns 16 this Dec. will get there shortly.

    “Both my kids … My oldest is a very good driver,” he said of Jack. “And then my middle son is getting his here shortly, but he’s very good.”

    After 13 years of marriage, Brady and Gisele Bundchen went separate ways in Oct. 2022. Though they have separated, they have decided to be joint custodian of their two children.
