Taylor Swift hasn’t featured as much in this year’s coverage of the Kansas City Chiefs. Since she started dating Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce, the Grammy Award winner has been a staple of the NFL’s coverage of her boyfriend’s team, particularly during the 2023 season, when she was heavily featured at every game and during Super Bowl LVIII celebrations.
Fans probably expected to see a lot of Swift this year, with the release of her album “The Life of a Showgirl” and the announcement of her engagement to Kelce reigniting interest in the couple. However, the opposite has been true, with her appearances having been much less prominent and with her having tighter security.
According to recent reports by the Daily Mail, Taylor Swift:
“has wanted to feel much more protected this year with her security, especially with her current stalker issues,”
This is due to Swift currently dealing with a stalker against whom she got a five-year restraining order recently. An insider to the situation told the Daily Mail the following:
‘Taylor has wanted to feel much more protected this year with her security, especially with her current stalker issues,’ the source said.
‘She doesn’t want her whereabouts known every minute of the day. She wants to be safe and she wants her family and friends to be safe.’
The man, a 45-year-old male by the name of Brian Jason Wagner, has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the singer.
Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Are Already Planning The Next Stage of Their Lives
According to sources close to the magazine ELLE, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are deep into their wedding planning and are already thinking about having kids. The process is coming along quickly, and the singer is happy with how involved her fiancé is:
“coming along. They are both [very] involved, and Taylor thinks it’s cute that Travis wants to help.”
The reports are that neither of them wants to take too long to get married, with the expectation being that they could get married in the summer of 2026. Rhode Island has been floated as a possible location.
