22 Days After Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce Diss, Toni Braxton Gets 100% Real on Kayla Nicole’s Controversial Halloween Clip

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is currently engaged to global pop star Taylor Swift, but previously, he was in a relationship with ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole. Over the last month and so, a lot has been happening between Swift and Nicole, with both parties seemingly taking alleged shots against each other.

The latest came from Nicole, who made headlines during this year’s Halloween with her costume choice. She uploaded her video, where she is dressed as R&B icon Toni Braxton and mimicking the choreography from Braxton’s music video for the song “He Wasn’t Man Enough.” The clip featured Nicole dancing to the lyrics, which include:

“Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend? … He wasn’t man enough for me.”

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Braxton was directly asked if she liked Nicole’s Halloween feature of her song. Braxton said initially:

“I like to think that she was just paying homage to me and did it for Halloween.”

However, when she was made aware of her feud with Swift being the possible reason for this feature, Braxton reacted:

    “Oh that’s bitter.”

Travis Kelce’s Fiancée Taylor Swift Allegedly Take Shots At TE’s Ex Kayla Nicole

Before Kayla Nicole came up with her Toni Braxton-inspired controversial Halloween look, Taylor Swift allegedly used her song “Opalite” to what many believe were targeted towards Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend.

Swift’s song has a line that says:

“You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone/You were in it for real, she was in her phone and you were just a pose.”

However, there is no official confirmation whether it was Swift really talking about Nicole. Kelce and Nicole were part of an on-and-off relationship from 2017 to 2022.

Meanwhile, Nicole has addressed the reason behind her controversial Halloween look during her appearance on “The Pre-Game” podcast. She said she was referring to a different Taylor with her look.

“I had a white best friend. Her name was Taylor,” Nicole said. “And she [was] the only house I could go over to as a kid because my mom didn’t play them types of games.

“I specifically remember driving home from private school in my little uniform in the back of a paddy wagon with Taylor, and her mom was playing this song, playing at the top of her lungs, and it was just like an ah-hah moment that, ‘Wow, white people listen to Black people’s music as well.'”

Swift has never directly addressed the reason behind the lyrics of her song, though.
