The Kansas City Chiefs’ Christmas party was attended by the wives and girlfriends of players. Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, also attended the event and was seen in a picture posted on social media.
Swift, as one of the most popular celebrities in the world, has a massive fan following on the internet. The Swifties, as her fans like to be called, got hold of that picture, and it led to discussions about Swift’s presence.
The artist isn’t on tour currently, and she doesn’t have a new project coming out anytime soon. That made the appearance special for some fans as they got a glimpse of their favorite star, while others had a problem with Swift being pushed to the side in that frame.

“WHY IS SHE ON THE BACK LIKE HELLO??? WHO IS THIS PEOPLE,” a fan wrote.
“As far away from Mahomes as possible…” a fan wrote.
“Anyone that wonders why Taylor isn’t at the front doesn’t know Taylor at all. Last thing she would want to do is make this all about her. And the internet would ridicule her if she did. But they probably will find a way to be offended she was there at all. Crazies,” a fan wrote.
“Oh God, how I love to see any crumbs of Tay, but oh what joy to see how Chiefs Kingdom is protecting her privacy and truly treat her like a human and not take advantage of her fame. So freaking refreshing to see she can have fun and enjoy life,” a fan wrote.
“They need to stop gate keeping her outfit LEMME SEEEEEE,” a fan wrote.
It’s not clear why Swift decided to stand in the back or if she was intentionally put there. What’s clear, however, is that fans didn’t like seeing their star standing behind everyone.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are ‘Just Two People That Are in Love’
Celebrities, especially those at the level of Taylor Swift, have a larger-than-life image. They are worshipped by fans all over the globe, and most people think that’s how they are in their day-to-day life.
In the case of Swift and Kelce, they happen to be just like regular people when the cameras aren’t on them. During an interview with GQ Magazine, Kelce detailed what they’re like together.
“When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love,” Kelce said.
Kelce stated that the perception is far from reality because of their star power and the kind of attention that’s on them all the time.
