Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs will face the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 PM ET / 3:30 PM CT.
Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, has become a regular feature at Chiefs games. It’s always a big question whether Swift will be there to watch his game. With the occasion being Thanksgiving, let’s check if there is any indication of Swift possibly attending the game.
Will Taylor Swift Attend Travis Kelce’s Thanksgiving Game?
On Thursday, it will be a special occasion for Travis Kelce since it will be his first Thanksgiving game in a 13-year NFL career. While the occasion is definitely fitting for Taylor Swift to attend the game but as per a source close to the couple, Swift’s Thanksgiving plans this year are expected to be “low-key, family-centric.” She will potentially spend time with her family this holiday.
There are also other reasons why Swift might not attend this game, other than spending time with her own family. Generally, the Black Space singer attends Chiefs games at Arrowhead Stadium and she has rarely made an appearance in away games. Given her popularity, it’s always a logistical challenge to ensure her safe attendance at away games as compared to home games.
In the rare event she does appear for the game in Arlington, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has promised he will “roll out the red carpet” for the global popstar. In his interview on 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM), Jones shared his excitement for a potential Swift appearance at the Cowboys vs Chiefs game.
“I don’t want to do anything to jump the gun, but we would have an elaborate seat for her if she should attend the game,” Jones said. “Nobody [is] a bigger fan of Taylor Swift than I am. But more importantly, we all are.”
“I appreciate, buying through her Kansas City connection there, the kind of interest that she has and that she has brought to the NFL. I can’t get enough Taylor Swift,” he added.
In 2025, Swift attended several Chiefs games, including their 23-20 win over the Colts at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
