“Super Bowl Will Be a Sad Pathetic Downgrade”: Fans Lose It After Eminem & Jack White Deliver Viral Thanksgiving Halftime Show

The Detroit Lions had a Thanksgiving Halftime Show which, for once, seemed to be to everyone’s liking. Eminem and Jack White mesmerized fans at Ford Field as the Lions and the Green Bay Packers faced off in an important NFC North divisional encounter.

Fans were ecstatic that this time around, decision makers around the NFL seemed to understand what they wanted for entertainment.

“This should have been the Super Bowl half time show,” wrote one person.

“Super Bowl will be a sad pathetic downgrade,” claimed another individual.

“Best Thanksgiving halftime show in a long time,” joyfully wrote someone.

The calls to make a Super Bowl Halftime show like this have mounted.

“Half of America rn: “This is what we want at the superbowl,” ” demanded one person.

“well at least you got someone playing an instrument for once,” joked someone else.

Maybe this should go beyond a Halftime show?

“Jack White and Eminem need to collaborate on an album. That rocked. You got the alice cooper vibe with a touch of Dr Dre. Thats the sound we are looking for,” wrote one fan.

    Not everyone was happy, though.

“How did Detroit go from Shaboozey last year to Eminem this year?? Talk about a downgrade #ShaboozeyEnthusiast,” asked one fan.

“Eminem notwithstanding the NFL FINALLY PUT ON A HALFTIME SHOW SOMEONE ACTUALLY WANTS TO SEE!! Jack White is always a better choice….,” begrudgingly said someone else.

Officials at the Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers Thanksgiving Game Made a Controversial 4th Down Decision

The game hasn’t been without controversy, as a decision by game officials has been scrutinized by fans. Late in the second quarter, during a fourth-and-one situation, the Packers had a false start penalty called on them, which would’ve turned the play into a fourth and six.

Surprisingly, the call was reversed by the officials because, allegedly, coach Matt LeFleur had called for a timeout before the penalty was called. In the replay, it seemed that LeFleur had clearly called the timeout after the penalty was called. However, officials maintain he had already done so verbally.

When they replayed the call, Jordan Love connected with Romeo Doubs for a touchdown that put Green Bay up 17-7 at the time.
