Stephen A. Smith Labels Jason Whitlock “Devil in the Flesh” in Furious Rant Amid Viral Feud

The long-standing feud between Stephen A. Smith and Jason Whitlock reached a new peak after Whitlock recently came on Sage Steele’s podcast and made serious allegations about Smith’s character, as well as his career path.

Whitlock, who is now a conservative commentator with Blaze Media, did not shy away from questioning whether Smith’s rise to prominence was even authentic. In fact, he specifically accused Smith of lying about his upbringing and integrity as they relate to Smith’s professional career.

This led Smith to respond to Whitlock’s statements on his show “Straight Shooter with Stephen A,” launching into an immediate and scathing assault on Whitlock.

“You know why you don’t see Jason Whitlock there? Because he can’t show up in public. Because he’s scared of what’s going to happen to him”, Smith began (2:30).

Smith pointed out that Whitlock has made quite a number of enemies based on his thoughts about Black people. Moreover, he called him a devil.

“This is the devil in the flesh”, Smith stated (2:46).

“He will lie, he will deceive, he will do everything. Satan is his father”, he further elaborated (3:00).

During his rant, Smith also cautioned people working with him or encountering him that they be wary of Whitlock, warning them that when he has a moment’s notice, he will turn on them.

Stephen A. Smith Defends Cam Newton in Drake Maye Dispute

In a recent turn of events, the beef between New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and Stephen A. Smith’s First Take analyst Cam Newton saw Smith defend his colleague, essentially calling Maye a liar.

This prompted Jason Whitlock to call out Stephen A. Smith, calling it Smith’s “ego run amok,” whilst defending Drake Maye for not knowing who Cam Newton was, explaining that people prefer watching social clips to traditional TV these days.

Meanwhile, Smith recently stepped away from regular appearances on ESPN’s “NBA Countdown,” clarifying this was his decision based on lack of time rather than any kind of demotion.

Smith’s expanding media career includes his SiriusXM shows and a production company, while he also headlines the “First Take” show.
