Cardi B announced last week on CBS Mornings with Gayle King that she’s expecting her fourth baby. This time, not with rapper Offset, who’s the father of her previous three, but with her current boyfriend: New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Diggs and Cardi B have been dating since October 2024, according to some reports, shortly after Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in July of last year. Their official public debut wasn’t until May 2025, but judging by how fast things seem to be going, it’s likely that the 2024 rumors are true.
In the wake of last week’s announcement, the Grammy Award winner has gone on a media tour. Her latest stop? Podcast “Call Me Daddy,” where she discussed a wide range of topics. Among them is how she got into working in a strip club in her 20s:
“I was working in a supermarket around my school. Well, the college I was going to BMCC (Borough of Manhattan Community College) and I got fired, and I was just talking like to one of the managers of the supermarket. And I was just like, ‘I need this job so much. You think you could talk to this and that person so they won’t fire me?’ and he was like ‘You don’t even need this job. Like this is really bad..You should go across the street. They have really pretty girls. You have nice body. I know the people there.'” (15:20)
“I was like, for real? And I was just so scared, and he’s like ‘It’s nothing crazy.’ Coming out of high school and going into college you don’t really know what a strip club is or what they do… I was very nervous,” she added.
Cardi B then explained that she got into the rhythm of things fairly quickly, and she became very proficient at pole dancing.
Cardi B’s Response to Aileen Lopera’s Paternity Lawsuit Against Stefon Diggs
Stefon Diggs is currently embroiled in a legal battle to determine the fatherhood of Aileen Lopera’s daughter. According to the influencer, the Patriots player is the father of her newborn daughter. At Diggs’ request, a Los Angeles County judge has mandated that both Lopera and him submit to genetic testing to get to the bottom of the situation.
While the matter hasn’t been resolved yet, Cardi B seems to be taking it lightly, judging by the comments she made in a recent Instagram live:
“That’s your baby daddy, b—-?” Cardi asked in the Sept. 20 stream, per Page Six. “That’s my baby daddy, too.”
“What now?” Cardi asked as she sprinkled cheese onto a casserole. “I don’t f—— know. We’ll figure it out, b—-.”
The rapper is embroiled in a legal battle of her own, as she hasn’t finalized her marriage to rapper Offset, due to some financial disagreements, according to her.
