Cardi B confirmed her pregnancy during an appearance on CBS Mornings, sharing that this will be her fourth child and her first with Stefon Diggs. She also explained why she waited before revealing she was expecting a child with the Patriots’ wide receiver.
The timing of the announcement was carefully thought out. Cardi wanted to handle things privately until she felt secure enough to go public. She had several reasons for delaying. Business was one factor, as she wanted to finalize important deals before shifting attention to her personal life.
During her conversation with Gayle King, she said:
“I just was like, ‘Can I just say it on my own time?’ Like, I’m not hiding. On my time, on my own terms. Let me close some deals first, you know what I’m saying? Let me close some deals first.” (From 3:25)
More importantly, Cardi wanted to ensure her baby’s health, and without being sure about several factors attached to her pregnancy, she didn’t want to make a public announcement.
“It’s like, you don’t really want to say right way that you’re pregnant. It’s like, ‘Let me see a couple of more sonograms. Let my baby be healthy.’”
The rapper went on to reveal that at the time of her interview with King, she hadn’t even told her parents about the pregnancy. When asked if her parents like Diggs and her relationship with the NFL star, she said they like him and their relationship.
Now that the news is out, Cardi B is preparing for what’s ahead. The baby is expected to arrive before her tour begins in February 2026. That means her schedule will be tight, but she has made it clear she’s ready to handle both motherhood and her career.
Antonio Brown Trolled Cardi B and Stefon Diggs
Antonio Brown is notorious for stirring up the pot, even when the conversation doesn’t involve him. From pop culture and politics to sport, there’s nothing that Brown doesn’t have a comment on, and he often delivers them via social media.
So, when the Cardi B-Stefon Diggs news went viral, Brown once again jumped into the conversation. He trolled the couple with a simple two-word message that hinted at a troubled future for them and their soon-to-be-born child.
“child support,” Brown wrote on X.

Cardi is already a mother of three kids, and she shares with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. This will be her fourth child. Despite what Brown believes will happen in the near future, there are plenty of people wishing Cardi and Diggs the best for their lives ahead.
