With the NFL trade deadline expiring three weeks from tomorrow, on November 4, could the Pittsburgh Steelers be aggressive and look to make a deal to add another pass catcher? There’s a chance.
The Steelers, through their first five games of the season, have surprised some, sitting at 4-1 and in first place in the AFC North. They’ve been led by a remodeled roster that features veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers and guys like wide receiver DK Metcalf and cornerback Jalen Ramsey, both of whom the team acquired via trade.
As the Steelers look to make a playoff run, ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter appeared on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ on Monday and spoke about the possibility of the team adding a wide receiver.
Schefter said:
“I would think that there will be trades that are made this week because there were last week you’ve got the Chargers looking for running back, the Steeler looking for a receiver.”

Two wide receivers that the Pittsburgh Steelers could target are New Orleans Saints’ Chris Olave and Las Vegas Raiders’ Jakobi Myers. Both Olave and Myers are rumored to be potential trade targets.
Trade Deadline Candidates Ft. Chris Olave
There have already been a few in-season trades this season, including the Jacksonville swapping cornerbacks with the Cleveland Browns, trading Tyson Campbell for Greg Newsome. The Cincinnati Bengals acquired Joe Flacco from division rival Cleveland Browns.
Over the course of the next three weeks, there will be trades with some potential big names on the move. Some players who could be moved include Alvin Kamara, Riq Woolen, Trey Hendrickson, Chris Olave, Mark Andrews, Breece Hall, Jakobi Meyers, and Russell Wilson.
