Eagles HC Nick Sirianni Reveals Verdict On Kevin Patullo After “Week Of Evaluations”

Heading into the Philadelphia Eagles Week 13 game against the Chicago Bears, their offense ranked towards the bottom in multiple categories. The offense entered Friday’s game against the Bears with the 24th-ranked offense in yards per game (303.6), 23rd in passing (193.2), 21st in rushing (110.5), and 18th in scoring (23.2.)

In the team’s 24-15 Friday loss to the Bears, the offensive woes continued with the team being held to 317 total yards including just 87 rushing yards.

After a weekend of evaluating the team, head coach Nick Sirianni has decided that the team’s offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo will continue his duties as the team’s play-caller. This is after the OC receiving criticism for the offense’s play this season, and with fans calilng for his firing following a lousy first-half performance against the Bears.

This is Patullo‘s first season as the team’s offensive coordinator after he replaced Kellen Moore, who became the head coach of the New Orleans Saints. If the offense continues to struggle for the remainder of the season, the Eagles could look for a new offensive coordinator.

Philadelphia Eagles Remain in First Place in NFC East Entering Week 14

Despite the team’s woes on offense, the Philadelphia Eagles remain in first place heading into Week 14. After Friday’s loss to Chicago, the Eagles hold an 8-4 record which is a game-and-a-half ahead of the 6-5-1 Dallas Cowboys.

While the NFC East division hasn’t been one of the most competitive divisions this season, it is starting to heat up between Philadelphia and Dallas. With the Commanders 3-9 and the New York Giants 2-10 the division will come down between Dallas and Philly.

Just three weeks ago, Dallas held a 3-5-1 record while Philly held a 7-2 record. The Eagles are currently on a two-game skid and will be on the road in Week 14 in Los Angeles facing the Chargers. Meanwhile, the Cowboys face the Detroit Lions this Thursday night on the road.
