Cleveland Shuts Down Trade Rumors Surrounding Sanders

Despite the trade rumor coming thick and fast, Cleveland’s front office has made its intentions clear regarding Sanders. After briefly entertaining trade discussions earlier in the season, the Browns have pulled him off the trade block entirely.

Owner Jimmy Haslam recently addressed that Sanders will absolutely get his opportunity to play at some point this season. However, Haslam emphasized that the coaching staff will determine when that moment arrives based on what’s best for the team.

Offensive coordinator Tommy Rees has also been particularly vocal in praising Sanders’ work ethic and preparation throughout the season.

Meanwhile, the Patriots present a formidable challenge for the browns ahead of their week 8 matchup as they sit at 5-2, part of the reason being rookie quarterback Drake Maye, who has energized their attack. The Browns will need Dillon Gabriel to step up against the Patriots, considering Cleveland’s offensive struggles through the first seven games so far this season.
