‘Dad Would Never Let Me’: Shedeur Sanders Reveals Consequences of Getting Luxurious Bags Stolen In $200K Worth Robbery

Shedeur Sanders might be one of the biggest stars in the league and the starting quarterback for the Cleveland franchise, but he still takes orders from his father on off-field matters. Deion Sanders’ habit of running a tight ship isn’t limited to the Colorado program.

The Browns played the Buffalo Bills yesterday. Hours before the game, when Shedeur reached the stadium, he was greeted by his brother, Deion Sanders Jr., near the tunnel. The quarterback was dressed casually for his pre-game walk-in.

He was carrying a black bag with him, which was noticeable because Shedeur usually carries luxury bags with him. While talking to his brother, he revealed that most of his luxury bags were stolen in the burglary at his house last month.

“It be funny because I be having to bring the bag, my same bag every weekend,” Shedeur said. “They stole all my other bags, bro. I be pissed…Just cool. It’s Nike.” (From 1:00)

While he wasn’t very happy with the Nike bag he was carrying, Shedeur revealed that he has other bags at home. Unfortunately, he can’t get them because Coach Prime won’t let him.

“Dad won’t never let me go to the house and get my other bag,” he said. “So, I be like, ‘Bro, c’mon bro.”

It’s probably a good thing that Coach Prime isn’t letting his son get his other bags from the house. The break-in at Shedeur’s house happened when he was making his Browns debut. They stole items worth nearly $200k. As Shedeur said, all his bags were stolen too.

Shedeur got injured in the last game. When he was headed to the sidelines, and Dillon Gabriel was stepping in, it wasn’t clear what had happened. Soon, the cameras zoomed in, and fans saw Shedeur’s bloody pinky finger.

Shedeur Sanders Wasn’t Worried About the Burglary

Making his regular-season NFL debut after waiting for so long was supposed to be Sanders’ big moment. Unfortunately, it was marred by the incident that happened at his home. Police reported that they stole items worth $200k from the quarterback’s house.

Days later, when he was asked about it during a media interaction, Sanders seemed calm. He said that he wasn’t bothered by what had happened as he had bigger things to worry about.

“I know this is a trending topic that my house got broken into,” Sanders said. “But I’m in a mental space now to where there’s not too much that can faze me, honestly.”

Despite losing items worth over $200k, Sanders was happy that his jewelry was safe from the burglars. He revealed that none of his jewelry was stolen.
