With the current NBA gambling scandal going on, fans are a bit more dubious of players suddenly getting injured during a game. This was evident after Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs exited the game due to a chest injury during that 7-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Doubs was seen holding his chest after a Packers possession during the fourth quarter and exiting the game soon after. Many fans did not see what really happened and this raised many to doubt if he had any bets going on. Soon enough, many took to social media and voiced their suspicions that the wide receiver was involved in gambling activities and was “faking” his injury.
“Like this if you think Romeo Doubs leaving game early on must pass possession is fishy asf. @FBI needs to look at this,” claimed one X user.
“Literally as soon as the Packers have to throw the ball Romeo Doubs is in the locker room 😂😂😂 can’t make this shit up Fuck the NFL,” said one fan.
“You HAVE TO investigate Romeo doubs friends and family and check to see if they have unders on his props 5 f*cking yards and right when game script turns to packers passing he fakes a “Chest injury”” added another person.
“Phantom injury for Romeo doubs, literally just ran a route and his “chest hurt” didn’t get hit or anything lmao make it less obvious man,” one person pointed out.
“I find it extremely odd that Romeo Doubs gets ONE catch for FIVE yards the entire game and then all of a sudden without anyone noticing an injury on the field during ANY play, the team said he’s “questionable” with a chest injury 🤔🤔 Sounds a lot like bullshit and because the tram waited until the second quarter to take him out, everyone that took Doubs on @DKSportsbook is screwed on their bet. IT’S BULLSH*T.” said another.

It should be noted that these are just speculations and nothing has been proven as fact yet.
Romeo Doubs Was Listed As Questionable Before Ultimately Not Returning After Apparent Injury
During the game, Doubs only had one catch for five yards. Soon enough, he was clutching his chest and was helped off the field. Soon enough, the team listed him as “questionable” to return to the game, with him ultimately not returning after being helped to the locker rooms by staff.
The injury raised a lot of eyebrows and so far, the team has not yet updated what his injury status for their next game will be.
