As things stand on Friday, Odunze is listed as questionable to play on Sunday against Minnesota. However, after being upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday, there is a good chance he will play. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on Odunze’s status on Friday to see if he is upgraded to a full participant. If that happens, there will be very little doubt that he will play on Sunday.
Rome Odunze Fantasy Outlook
When available, Rome Odunze is a solid fantasy option and a must-start in many fantasy leagues. His performances in recent weeks have been among the best of his season. He made six receptions for 86 yards and one TD last week. Two weeks prior, against Baltimore, he had seven receptions for 114 yards. If Odunze is healthy, he has an excellent fantasy outlook.
Fantasy Replacements If Rome Odunze Misses This Week
If Rome Odunze does not play this week, fantasy owners will need to make adjustments. Fortunately for fantasy owners, there should be plenty of viable options on the waiver wire. We are big fans of Tez Johnson on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who is having a breakout season as a rookie.
Another option is Troy Franklin on the Denver Broncos, who is expected to have a strong performance against Kansas City this weekend. Tre Tucker on the Raiders is another solid option as he will play against a weak Dallas defense.
