Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and his girlfriend Camille Kostek were at Gillette Stadium to watch the Thursday Night Football game against the New York Jets.
When the couple made their way through the tunnel, Kostek became nostalgic, remembering the days when she used to be a Patriots cheerleader while Gronkowski would head out in full football gear.
“Back in the tunnel,” she wrote about the picture taken from behind. “I used to line up in here before hitting the sidelines as a Patriots cheerleader and Rob would run out of here to take the field to play.”
After the Patriots’ 27-14 win against the Jets, Kostek also made her way into the tunnel to greet the current Patriots cheerleading squad. She wrote:
“had to stop in the cheer locker room to see my girls.”
As for the game is concerned, the Patriots improved to 9-2 on the season with their latest win. Drake Maye led the team from the front as he completed 25 of 34 passes for 281 yards and one touchdown. Meanwhile, on the ground, running back TreVeyon Henderson rushed for two scores while carrying the ball for 62 yards on 19 attempts.
Rob Gronkowski Met Camille Kostek When She Was Patriots Cheerleader
Camille Kostek joined the New England Patriots Cheerleaders in 2013 while she was a junior in college.
Rob Gronkowski met Kostek for the first time in November 2013 at a Goodwill charity event in Boston, during a Patriots “Turkey Baskets” event. Kostek revealed that the tight end gave her his phone number in a unique way.
“We were at a charity event in 2013 in November, and he put his number on a cheerleader poster I was signing that day,” Kostek said. “We were at Goodwill putting turkey baskets together for the less fortunate. I was doing the appearance for the cheerleaders. He was there for the football players.”
Their relationship started when she FaceTimed the former Super Bowl champion. However, they had to keep their relationship a secret since players and cheerleaders were not allowed to date.
In 2017, the couple briefly broke up, leaving Kostek feeling “asexual” emotionally disconnected.
The couple later reconciled and has evolved in their relationship over the years. They even became “puppy parents” in early 2021, adopting a French bulldog, Ralphie G.
