The New England Patriots face the Cincinnati Bengals on the road in Week 12, and look to remain as one of the top teams in the AFC.
Entering Week 12, the Patriots boast a 9-2 record, which is tied with the Denver Broncos for the best record in the conference. The Patriots are also in first place in their division in the AFC East, and with Buffalo losing to the Houston Texans and falling to 7-4 last night, it increased New England’s chance at potentially winning the division.
As the Patriots prepare to take on the Bengals, they will get a few key additions back including one in the backfield.
What Happened to Rhamondre Stevenson?
In the New England Patriots‘ Week 8 win against the Cleveland Browns, Rhamondre Stevenson suffered a toe injury. The injury forced Stevenson to miss the Patriots’ last three games. In Stevenson’s absence, rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson has gotten an increased load.
Is Rhamondre Stevenson Playing In Week 12?

Rhamondre Stevenson Fantasy Outlook
Prior to his injury, Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for just 279 yards, three touchdowns, and averaging just 3.4 yards per carry in eight games played.
With Stevenson out the last three games, Henderson has surpassed him and became the team’s leading rusher, leading the team in carries (100), yards (492), yards per carry (4.9), and rushing touchdowns (5.)
Despite Henderson’s emergence, New England is expected to find a ‘sweet spot’ on the usage of Stevenson and Henderson.
It will be interesting to see how Mike Vrabel and Patriots split the two running backs’ usage, and it could give fantasy owners an idea of who the lead running back will be for the future.
