As the New England Patriots face the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday on the road at 1:00 p.m., they’ll look to move to 10-2, and remain in first place in the AFC East and one of the top seeds in the AFC.

While the offense has rallied behind second year quarterback Drake Maye, the team will look to get a player back in the backfield this week, as Rhamondre Stevenson has been making steady progress from his injury.

Let’s take a lookt at Stevenson’s status for this week.

    What Happened to Rhamondre Stevenson?

In the New England Patriots‘ Week 8 win against the Cleveland Browns, Rhamondre Stevenson suffered a toe injury. This injury forced him to miss the Patriots’ last three games with rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson getting an increased load.

When is Rhamondre Stevenson Coming Back?

The plan is for Rhamondre Stevenson to make a return this Sunday per multiple sources. Fantasy owners can expect Stevenson to be active for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Barring something unexpected, Stevenson will be available for the Patriots’ backfield with Henderson as the Patriots look to improve to 10-2.

    Rhamondre Stevenson Fantasy Outlook

It’s kind of tough to project Rhamondre Stevenson’s fantasy outlook for multiple reasons.

One, we don’t know how much he is recovered from his to injury. His job could be on the line with the emergence of Henderson. Stevenson also might not be 100% when he returns to the field.

Since Stevenson’s absence, Henderson has become the team’s leading rusher, leading the team in carries (100), yards (492), yards per carry (4.9), and rushing touchdowns (5.)

Stevenson wasn’t the most productive back prior to his injury, rushing for just 279 yards, three touchdowns, and averaging just 3.4 yards per carry in eight games.
