Chad Johnson Sends Blunt Message to John Harbaugh’s Ravens Amid Slide In Lamar Jackson’s Absence

The Baltimore Ravens continue their slide as the team fell to the LA Rams, 3-17, losing their fourth game in a row and falling to a 1-5 record, This is their worst start in recent history, and this is happening while superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson is out with an injury.

“The other players on offense, you have to raise your level of play because you don’t have you don’t have eight back there, you have to bring your level of play up to par to hide the weakness,” Johnson told Sharpe. (3:30)

With Jackson out, Johnson also noted that wide receiver Zay Flowers must step up and takeover the team in a leadership capacity.

“Quarterback is out, Zay baby, Zay, but you that boy. You have to take over in situations like this. When you get to, I mean, , I see at that trying to make them plays, trying to do extra, trying to add that that that spark to that offense, you know. It’s just everybody,” he added.

Jackson got injured during that Week 4 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, with the loss to the Rams being the second game in a row he has missed, Reports indicated that he is currently suffering from a hamstring injury, with QB2 Cooper Rush filling in for the injured former MVP.

The Ravens will be on a bye week for Week 7, and it could not come at a better time, as the team could give Lamar Jackson even more time to rest and heal up that hamstring. There is a chance that he may finally play around Week 8.

The team had struggled this season, with Jackson’s injury only worsening the situation after the Ravens fell on Week 5 at home to the Houston Texans, losing by 44-10.

John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens Still Aiming To Make the Playoffs

Despite the five-game losing streak and having their superstar quarterback injured, Jim Harbaugh is still aiming for the Playoffs. While talking to reporters during a press conference after their 17-3 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Harbaugh expressed his confidence that the team could still make the playoffs this year.

He stated that the team will try to accomplish the most they can during their next 11 games and added that they “still believe” that they can make the playoffs, even though their record is not the best right now at 1-5.
