Being injured often means players cannot do most of the things they usually do, from walking and running to jumping around, but Las Vegas Raiders DE Maxx Crosby is doing all those things after suffering a “season ending” knee injury. Crosby was sent to the injury reserve as his knee injury was reportedly so bad that it requires surgery. However, Crosby has taken to social media to post that he is actually fine.
The star DE is reportedly angry at his team for having him get surgery for a “lingering knee issue” and as a result, he has posted videos of himself playing basketball and also jumping around on a trampoline in a message seemingly targeted at the Raiders organization.

Because he was placed on the injured reserve, this would mean that Maxx Crosby is now officially out for the season, as being placed in the IR means that a player could not play in at least four games. With less than that remaining in the season and the Raiders already eliminated from playoff contention, that means his season is already over.
Maxx Crosby Was Placed On Injured Reserve As Trade Rumors Swirled
Many have questioned the timing of the team placing Crosby on the IR, as there are currently rumors that that team is already planning to trade him away in the off-season.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Crosby is “expected to need knee surgery that would sideline him into the offseason.” This move from the Raiders just seems to be adding more fuel to his reported “frustrations” with the team, as well as making the trade rumors stronger, as the Raiders might want a healthy Maxx Crosby to get better trades.
Reported suitors include the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears.
