Quinn Ewers’ girlfriend, Madelyn Barnes, recently posted a photo dump on Instagram, wrapping up 2025. People around the world are welcoming a new year, and those on social media are posting their best moments from 2025.
For Barnes, the best moments included time spent with her friends, family, graduation, parties, concerts, and more. In her media dump, Barnes also included a special clip of Ewers.
In the last slide, she posted a video of Ewers’ walkout for a game. The Miami Dolphins’ rookie quarterback could be seen running down the tunnel to a roaring crowd, wearing his #14 Dolphins jersey.

The 2025-26 season hasn’t been great for the Miami Dolphins. They are currently 7-9 with one more game to be played against the New England Patriots on January 4. The Dolphins have been eliminated from playoff contention.
The Dolphins secured a 20-17 victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. It was Ewers’ first win with the Miami franchise, and he played a major role in securing the win against a team that has the same record. Ewers got to keep the game ball for his breakout performance.
“He came running over to me and was like, ‘Are you going to keep it? You’re going to keep it?’ he said. “And then I was like, ‘I’m going to keep this one. You can have the next one.’ We can share it. How about that? We’ll split it weekly.”
Ewers went 14 of 22 for 172 yards and had two touchdowns. He secured several milestones with his performance against Tampa Bay. Ewers had 144 passing yards in the first half, the most by a Dolphins quarterback this season.
Quinn Ewers Motivated His Teammates for the Game
When a team that has struggled throughout the season with players’ inconsistencies, discipline, and has been eliminated from the playoff race, there’s little to no motivation in the players to play the games that won’t change their season’s outcome.
However, when the Dolphins were gearing up to face Tampa Bay, Ewers, who was making his second appearance as the starting quarterback, took the responsibility to motivate his teammates.
“It comes with the position,” he said. “It’s important that you tell your teammates how you feel and how you want them to play, whether it’s my second start or, God willing, I’m playing four or five years from now. It’s always going to be the same message.”
Ewers stated that the trick is to find what motivates each individual and talk to them about it. Thanks to his motivation, the Dolphins were able to register a strong win against Tampa Bay.
