The Miami Dolphins are already in Buffalo as they visit Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Among them will be rookie Quinn Ewers, who is still looking for a breakout performance in his rookie year at Miami. Despite the game being held in Buffalo, he does have at least one person cheering for him there, and that is his girlfriend, Madelyn Barnes.
Barnes, a student at the University of Oklahoma, despite her boyfriend being the star quarterback of eternal rivals, the Texas Longhorns, showed off a flowing red dress ahead of the Dolphins’ showdown with the Bills as she was shopping:
“Get gameday ready!!” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
As Madelyn Barnes posted, she was doing some shopping to get herself ready for the big game, and she chose a red one-piece dress. However, Miami will be coming to the game as +12 underdogs, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
With the game being held in Buffalo and the Bills having one of the loudest and rowdiest fans in the NFL, Miami is expected to be in for a challenge, especially with the Bills still being undefeated this season, while Miami has remained winless, with Buffalo being 2-0 and Miami being 0-2. Despite the odds, Barnes is expected to cheer for her man, Quinn Ewers, who will be the backup quarterback for the Dolphins.
What Madelyn Barnes Said After Quinn Ewers Was Drafted by the Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins picked Quinn Ewers as the 231st overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, with him going in the seventh round despite being the quarterback for the SEC powerhouse, the Texas Longhorns. Soon after he was picked, she took to Instagram and posted how proud she was of him making it to the NFL.
“So incredibly proud and overjoyed!! Quinn, you are so deserving of this and a whole lot more! You’re the most driven, dedicated, and genuine man both on and off the field. I’m so excited for this journey and to watch you live out your dreams. GO DOLPHINS!! Miami ain’t ready,” she wrote.

The two started dating in 2023, with Ewers playing for rival Texas while Maddie Barnes is a student at Oklahoma. Despite this, Barnes has been very supportive of him, even though he was playing for her school’s most hated rival team at that time. The two would constantly post photos with one another, and would often travel the country together during their off time.
