Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has quickly emerged as one of the league’s best wide receivers.
He set the rookie record for most receptions (105) and receiving yards (1,486), and his numbers through his first 30 game in the NFL are unreal. Nacua has 238 receptions for 3,092 yards, and 11 receiving touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Nacua as it looked like he would have a record-setting season, he suffered an injury in Week 6 that saw him sidelined.
What Happened to Puka Nacua?
Puka Nacua suffered an ankle sprain in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens. Nacua tried to catch a pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford and was covered by Ravens’ safety Kyle Hamilton and landed awkwardly on his ankle he came down to the ground.

As a result, Nacua left and missed the rest of the game. He was sidelined for the Rams’ next game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
Is Puka Nacua Playing in Week 9?
As a result of his injury, Puka Nacua was forced to miss a game. The Rams had a bye this past weekend, which provided some much-needed rest for Nacua.
The Rams will face the host the New Orleans Saints this Sunday and they are expected to get Nacua back. Per Adam Schefter and multiple reports, Nacua is expected to play against the New Orleans Saints, returning from his sprain ankle injury.

Puka Nacua Fantasy Outlook
Puka Nacua has been having another super productive season. Although he missed a game-and-a-half, Nacua has 54 catches for 616 yards and two touchdowns this season. He still ranks fourth in the NFL in receiving yards and is third in receptions with 54. Nacua is a must-start in fantasy every week.
