Due to an injury to starter Bryce Young, the Carolina Panthers were forced in Week 8 to play veteran Andy Dalton against the Buffalo Bills. The decision hasn’t panned out well for the Panthers, with Andy Dalton having a pretty bad game so far.

Through the first half, Dalton only threw for 100 yards, with one interception and a completion percentage of 57.1%. Criticism from the Panthers’ fandom didn’t take long to appear on social media.

What Were Andy Dalton’s Numbers In 2024 For The Carolina Panthers?
Andy Dalton and Bryce Young traded the starting position during the 2024 season. While Young was the team’s first choice, injury and poor performances opened the door for the veteran Dalton to start several games.

The numbers were disappointing. He threw for 989 passing yards, with seven touchdowns and a pretty high six interceptions. His completion percentage was okay, yet not impressive, 66.3%. The record for Carolina through Andy Dalton’s five starts was a lowly 1-4.
At one point in his career, Andy Dalton looked like potentially be one of the best quarterbacks of his generation. He was selected for the Pro Bowl three times, but he hasn’t been the same since leaving Cincinnati in 2019.
