He averages 13.0 yards per reception, and has been very consistent for his team, with his best performance happening last September against the Jaguars where he had eight receptions for 104 yards. His absence would be a massive blow to the team.

He hit his head on the turf and suffered a concussion as a result, with him exiting the contest and was soon taken to the medical tent. He had 27 receiving yards on four catches that game.

The big question now is, will he be able to play on Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers, which is currently also having its share of injury problems. For now, the team is waiting to see if he could play, but Ryans noted that his concussion is “concerning.”

“We’ll see how the week goes. Nico is one of our best players. It’s concerning. Some things you can’t control and try to do the best you possibly can,” Ryans said.
