The NFL playoffs begin this weekend with wildcard weekend taking place. In total, six games will be played over the course of three days from Saturday-Monday.
Each game, (being in different locations) comes with different elements of weather that teams will have to play in. Some teams will have colder, windier games than others, but for the most part, the weather for wildcard weekend doesn’t look too bad.

Weather For All Six NFL Wildcard Games This Weekend
Saturday, January 10
Carolina Panthers vs. Los Angeles Rams, 4:30 p.m. @ Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC.
For the first of the two double header games on Saturday, the Carolina Panthers will host the Los Angeles Rams in Charlotte with the temperature expected to be 68 degrees at kickoff. There’s a 25% chance of precipitation that day and wind is expected to be at about 13 mph with gusts at about 24 mph. The day will mostly be cloudy.
Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers, 8:00 p.m. @ Solider Field, Chicago IL.
Saturday night’s NFC North showdown between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers will be a colder game than the Panthers-Rams. Freezing temps are expected at kickoff with its projected to be 32 degrees. There’s a 25% chance of precipitation during the game and a 98% cloud cover. Wind speeds will reach 16 mph with gusts up to 32 mph.
Sunday, January 11
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills, 1:00 p.m. @ EverBank Stadium, Jacksonville, FL.
The first of the three game double-header this Sunday will feature the Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the Buffalo Bills in Florida. The temperature is expected to be 66 degrees at kickoff. There’s a 25% chance of rain and wind speeds will reach 12 mph with 24 mph gusts. The game will be partly cloudy with a 53% wind cover.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Francisco 49ers, 4:30 p.m. @ Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA.
Sunday’s game in Philadelphia will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and cooler. By the afternoon, the temp will be in the low 40s, with an 87% cloud cover. Wind speed is expected to get up to 16 mph with 29 mph gusts. There’s a 25% chance of precipitation.
New England Patriots vs. Los Angeles Chargers, 8:00 p.m. @ Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA.
It’s going to be a cold one in Foxboro on Sunday night. It will be in the low 40s but the real-feel temps will be in the low 30s. The wind speed will reach 15 mph with gusts up to 23 mph. Cloud cover will be at 69% and there is a 25% chance of rain.
Monday, January 12
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Houston Texans, 8:15 p.m. @ Acrisure Stadium, PA.
Pittsburgh will also be cold for its game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Texans. The temperature is expected to be 30 degrees by kickoff next Monday night. There’s only an 18% chance of precipitation with win speeds only reaching 10 mph and 17 mph gusts.
