Mid-November football gets a little grittier. The air stiffens, winds start biting, and some teams lose that crisp edge they’ve had since September. For Week 10, most of the league lucks out with mild setups, but a couple of stadiums could get ugly enough to change a game plan or two. Here’s the rundown.
Week 10 Weather Report
Cleveland Browns at New York Jets
Rain should be a factor the entire game in New York. Passing will tighten up, and you’ll see both sides lean into the run. Sloppy yardage, messy ball handling, that sort of afternoon.
New York Giants at Chicago Bears
Chicago should have 15 to 20 mile per hour winds affecting the game. That’s enough to wreck deep routes and push field goals sideways. It should also be cold with projected temperatures around 30 degrees. Maybe rain, maybe snow. The kind of mix where nobody feels warm or comfortable.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts (Berlin)
Berlin looks calm. Cool air, light wind, no chaos from above. Ideal setup, no weather excuses.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans
NRG Stadium stays sealed. No outside interference here.
New England Patriots at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa should have its average weather for this matchup. Temperatures around 80°, maybe humid, but nothing that slows a passing rhythm. Beautiful football weather.
Baltimore Ravens at Minnesota Vikings
Inside U.S. Bank Stadium, it’s indoor and controlled. Straight skill matchup.
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
Seattle could bring some challenges. The temperature shouldn’t change the game to much with the forecast around 57 degrees. Although there is a chance for showers early in the game, that’s hardly enough to shake a good passing attack.
Detroit Lions at Washington Commanders
There shouldn’t be too much of a weather factor in this one. Although it will look gloomy in Washington with cloud cover.
Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers
Temperatures in the 80s should be great weather for both teams. The kind of weather where offenses just hum. Expect points.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Chargers
SoFi’s roof handles everything. Conditions inside stay calm and pristine.
MNF: Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers
Now this feels like November. Sub-freezing temps and a firm field. No major snow or wind, though, just very cold conditions. Manageable, but not pleasant.
Bottom Line
Week 10 doesn’t look bad. The Browns vs Jets matchup could get slick, and Chicago’s wind might turn ugly. Beyond that, most teams get a fair shake from the elements. But the chill’s creeping in. By late November, cold football starts to separate who’s built for it and who isn’t.
