NFL Thanksgiving Weather Report: Updated Forecasts and Conditions for Every Matchup

This year’s NFL Thanksgiving slate will feature three matchups, out of which two games will be played indoors and one night contest in Baltimore.

As per the latest weather forecast, there are no major in-game weather issues that could disrupt or affect the game directly. However, light snow in Detroit and chilly evenings in Baltimore could affect the energy inside the stadium.

NFL Thanksgiving Weather Report: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions

The Packers and the Lions will take the field at Ford Field and will play in indoor conditions.

    Forecast Outside:

    Temperature: 36°F

    Precipitation Chance: 6%

    Condition: Slight Chance of Snow

    Wind: 18 mph, NW

Since this game is being played indoors, outside conditions like the possibility of snow don’t impact the game in any way. However, those traveling to Detroit for the game might face blizzard conditions near the Great Lakes.

NFL Thanksgiving Weather Report: Kansas City Chiefs at Dallas Cowboys

The Chiefs will take on America’s team, the Cowboys, on Thanksgiving at AT&T Stadium. It’s also an indoor game.

    Forecast Outside:

    Temperature: 56°F

    Precipitation Chance: 6%

    Condition: Chance of Rain Showers

    Wind: 3 mph, SE

The AT&T Stadium has a retractable roof, so even if North Texas receives showers, the game indoors won’t be affected. However, visitors should be wary of the possible showers while moving around in Arlington.

NFL Thanksgiving Weather Report: Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens

The Bengals and the Ravens will play this Thanksgiving at M&T Bank Stadium in outdoor conditions.

    Forecast:

    Temperature: 36°F

    Condition: Clear

    Wind: 8 mph, W

This is the only outdoor game in the Thanksgiving slate of the NFL. Expect clear skies and calm western winds set up a crisp, cold night in Baltimore. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-30s, which may affect ball handling for running backs, but overall, the passing game shouldn’t be affected.

It remains to be seen how each game turns out this Thanksgiving, which has been host to several nail-biting games in the past.
