Week 17 features several teams on the verge of clinching playoff spots or positioning themselves to secure qualification in the final week. The lineup starts with a game that has no playoff implications between the Commanders and the Cowboys.
The second game on the card, however, has a lot riding on it. The Detroit Lions, despite a remote chance, can still make it to the playoffs. Their entry would depend on several factors, and in such important games, accurate officiating becomes even more important.
The NFL Week 17 is exciting for many reasons, and the refs would once again play a major role in determining the right outcome of games. So, here’s a complete list of NFL referee assignments for Week 17.

In the AFC, matchups like Jaguars at Colts, Texans at Chargers, and Steelers at Browns carry direct postseason implications, with wins potentially setting up win-and-in scenarios for Week 18.
In the NFC, Seahawks at Panthers and Lions at Vikings could shape division races, while Packers hosting the Ravens and Bears visiting the 49ers may determine whether wild-card spots are locked up early or pushed to the season finale.
Several teams won’t clinch outright this week but can significantly strengthen their playoff position by avoiding losses that would leave their fate dependent on outside results in Week 18.
The Panthers are still in the race and can make the playoffs with a little bit of luck by their side. They have two more games left, which they have to win. More importantly, the Buccaneers must lose to the Dolphins to make the Panthers job easy.
Similarly, a Broncos win and the Chargers’ loss against Houston will set them up for the playoff spot. This week, fans will not be watching just their favorite teams. Their eyes will also be on the board to see if other teams are losing.
