Justin Jefferson missed out on what would have been his fifth Pro Bowl selection. The Minnesota Vikings star previously made the Pro Bowl from 2020 to 2022 and again in 2024, establishing himself as one of the league’s most consistent wide receivers.
Jefferson’s 2025 regular-season production backs up the frustration. He finished the year with 72 receptions for 917 yards and two touchdowns, numbers that compare favorably with several receivers who ultimately made the cut.
Despite that, his name was absent when the final 2026 Pro Bowl rosters were announced, leading many fans to label the omission a clear snub. Jefferson, however, wasn’t the only high-profile player fans felt was overlooked.
Jaylen Waddle and Caleb Williams rounded out the fan-identified top three snubs. Waddle posted 64 catches for 910 yards and six touchdowns, while Williams threw for 3,400 yards with 23 touchdowns and six interceptions, finishing the season firmly in the league’s upper half among quarterbacks.
Caleb had the 4th most votes in the league for any player, what’s the point of voting?

And if social media reactions are any indication, the snub list doesn’t stop there. Fans also pointed to Derrick Brown, Byron Murphy, Tyler Warren, Quentin Johnston, Alec Pierce, Michael Pittman Jr., Jakobi Meyers, and Parker Washington as additional names who failed to receive Pro Bowl recognition.
But that’s how the fans on social media are feeling. Every franchise has die-hard supporters who will root for their favorites, even if they have to overlook stats and other important metrics. If we keep going by their uproar, the list will include half the league.
Who Made the 2026 Pro Bowl Roster?
Headlining the list of selections, and it doesn’t come as a shock at all, was Travis Kelce, who received the most votes for the second consecutive year, reaffirming his status as the league’s premier tight end.
He was joined by several of the NFL’s biggest stars across positions, including quarterbacks Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, and Matthew Stafford. Drake Maye being included in the list is well deserved.

The Patriots quarterback has been brilliant the entire season, posting big numbers consistently. In the game against the Ravens, Maye posted his career-best numbers to help his team qualify for the playoffs.
At wide receiver, selections included Puka Nacua, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Ja’Marr Chase, and Nico Collins. Defensively, stars like Myles Garrett, Maxx Crosby, and Chris Jones were among those rewarded with Pro Bowl nods, rounding out a roster packed with elite talent and leaving just enough room for debate over who didn’t make it.
